Common mistakes

• I have a long commute to my university. to I have a long commute to university.. In this context, 'university' does not need a possessive pronoun.
• The commuters were waiting for the bus. to Commuters were waiting for the bus.. When speaking generally, no article is needed before 'commuters'.
• I commute by my car. to I commute by car.. 'By car' is a fixed expression; we do not use a possessive pronoun.
